INTRODUCTION OF THE BOOK 


I have recently finished reading this an amazing book "Atomic Habits " which is written by James Clear. This book is all about the tips and techniques which one can be  adopt to build habits that last, but the book had not new ideas.
If you are looking for something  which will lay out a bunch of dont's and do's ,i mean do's and don'ts for creating new habits and breaking old one's then the book "Atomic Habits" is awesome one . The book "Atomic Habits" is full of directly actionable advice.



MY PROBLEMS WITH THIS BOOK

My problems with this book is that  what I have mentioned above – in this book there are some idea which i think it is new but  majority there are no new ideas in this book , all the ideas in the book are old . One thing i forgot is that there is not any kind of  suspense  in the book.


This  book "Atomic Habits" is centered on how anyone by inculcating some good habits and remove their bad habits can make small changes in their entire life  which when repeated and built upon can have a compounded effect resulting in a better version of ourselves.

There are almost 20 chapters in this book and every chapter starts with a real-life anecdote on how some certain actions had an impact on the entire life of   a group or an individual being described in the anecdote. This builds up the context for  rest of the chapters ,as results in suspense.

The writer also lists ample examples for implementing the techniques written on the book described thereby making it too much easier for the reader to relate them to their own schedule and decide how can  they apply these techniques in their lives.

SOME TECHNIQUES WHICH I HAVE USED


I found this book really  very informative and you know that I was also applying the techniques while I was reading them like :

  •  Drive to the shop of gas cylinder for replacement the cooking gas cylinder/gas container/cannister the day it is empty. So the trigger for this action is the emptying of the gas cannister /cylinder.
  • Another is : Go for a run as soon as you return from the office . So I am stacking my new habit of running daily after the habit of returning from office ,this makes a new habit in me .

  • After morning prayer , Read two pages or a chapter daily . So habits stacking again and again .

  • & so on......

MY PERSONAL OPINION 


I would highly recommend this book. Each idea shared by the writer in this book is easy to do and my opinion is that ideas in the book is very effective in cutting off bad habits and developing good habits . I  have also planed  to use the additional module (which are available absolutely FREE for those who have purchased this  book) which are  shared by the writer on applying ....
