The book "The E-Myth Revisited" is another book of my favourite books; I wish I had read this book back in 1992 when I had setup my first small business. I was enthusiastic about   helping people and     health, but I had   not a bit knowledge about running a business.

Many people from us know that there is a   large failure rate for a small business. In this book Michael Gerber, the author of the book explains why this is.

This is popular a book and will remain always on the top of the best business books list, and for good reason. This book is full of useful information when it comes to building a business whatsoever it is for both small and as well as for a big business.

As Gerber tells in the book, most business owners are passionate about what they had done and they usually do it well, that is why the business owners go in a business. They are very great ‘Technicians’ which is especially important, but to build a sustainable business it is not enough. It is necessary that a business owner have the organisational skills of a ‘Manager’ and strategic thinking and the vision of an ‘Entrepreneur’. So, let’s have a brief look at what it means.

 The Technician

They are really good a about drives us to start our own business. We specialize in something, maybe in repairing laptops or computers, guiding others or making some clothes; we have the technical expertise.

The Manager

The manager is a key value of the business who   knows that how to organise the business and plans. They make sure the systems and procedures are in place to maintain the smooth running of the business no matter who is doing the job.

The Entrepreneur

The biggest message of this book is that if you want your business to survive then it is not enough to

being technically great. If you are owner of the small business, so, you need to be able to switch between the three mindsets according to your business needs, Stepping back from everyday activity to "work on your business, not in it".

According to Gerber we need to set it up as though it will be franchised for a business to be successful. His thought is that the franchise model is a remarkable development in the business.

. We should use the same approach in our business.

Gerber think that as businessman should be able to glide comfortably from technician to his manager to the entrepreneur as the occasion arises.

I also agree with him!

The E’myth is full of process which are highly recommended for serious small businessmen. That is because great people desire to act for organisations with clear structures and defined visions. They need something consistently by which they can test their stats against.  How your communication is good with your people, strategy starts with your primary aim and follows with your own organisation chart. You need to be consistent in it.

If you are planning to open a business or currently owning a business, then I highly recommending you, have a look on this book.
